As part of the 2018 Lincoln Calling music festival in Lincoln, Nebraska, this mural was created to bring new life to downtown. Located on 9th street between “P” and “Q",” the mural was completed in September 0f 2018. This mural was a collaboration between Benson First Friday and Lincoln Calling, with myself being the lead artist, and Maggie Weber as an assistant. Lincoln Calling 2017
As a partner with Benson First Friday, I was the lead artist for a large scale mural project in Lincoln, Nebraska. BFF and I partnered with Lincoln Calling, a local music festival, to bring new life to downtown Lincoln. The mural is located in the alleyway between Gomez Art Supply and Honest Abe's burger joint. A huge thanks goes to the Lincoln EcoStore, Under The Sink, and various donors for all the supplies! Without them, this mural would not have been possible.
The painting process began on Wednesday, September 27th and concluded on Saturday, September 30th. With the help of some wonderful volunteers, I was able to complete this project in a very short time frame.
The volunteers included Spencer Munson, Dale Galusha, Celena Malmkar, Lisa Guevara, Maggie Weber, and Caitlin Richardson.

BFF Tiny Mural Project
In 2016, BFF teamed up with muralist Maggie Weber to create the Tiny Mural Project, a contemporary spin on the traditional mural concept. The result? One large mural divided into nine smaller sections that now spans the alley between 59th and 62nd streets just south of Maple Street.

Original Design Submission
As one of nine selected artists, I was chosen to design a mural for the BFF Tiny Mural project. The design is untitled and came to me during the winter of 2016. As a lover and follower of the sun, my first mural project was dedicated to my love for light.

Croatian Mural Project
The Croatian mural is the fifth official public artwork of the South Omaha Mural Project – a series of ten community-based murals depicting the culture, history, and ethnic heritage of groups that settled these tightly clustered neighborhoods. We engaged communities to share their memories, concerns and hopes to shape a place-making, community-built monument to their past and ongoing vibrant culture. Efforts like this are shown to reduce isolation, graffiti, crime, and violence and increase the quality of life and spark development of business and tourism. These will enhance South Omaha and provide cultural touchstones.
